“In our hurried lives, we unwittingly pass by the most dramatic, theatrical, breathtaking and also the most intricate and complicated of all art: Creation is the greatest of all artwork and my work is my interpretation or reflection of capturing some of it on canvas, paper or in bronze. With the use of graceful, flowing lines, I portray the elegance of nature’s curves as seen in trees, leaves, bark, petals, and water, among other things.
I have concentrated my drawings in black and white to deepen my understanding and feeling for these forms. I have sculpted with waxes and clays while exploring their removal to discover these graceful lines. The culmination of these lines, forms, contrasts, patterns, etc., in oil painting allows me to express my thrill and gratitude for the gift of color.”
